Angolan immigration permits
Angola is one of Africa’s fastest growing economic countries. The country offers wonderful prospects to potential immigrants which makes it one of the top destinations to raise families, and collaborate in business ventures. Angolan immigration options are thus quite broad and offer everyone a choice.
Any individual wishing to reside in a different country other than their own will require specific visas or permits in order to achieve this. There are visas and permits for various aspects such as are used for:

In Angola there is only one type of visa granted to individuals temporarily employed within the country by an Angolan company or the state. The process by which the visa can be obtained requires the individual to request permission by a sector such as agriculture for instance. The company that grants permission for the visa will also act as the applicant’s sponsor and arrange all official transactions and admin thereof. Once the visa is granted, by law that applicant (the expat) will be contracted to only work for the said company who applied for the work visa on their behalf.
Visitor and Business Visas
The Visitor and Business visa is granted for short period stays in which the visitor is required to use the visa within 60 days; however, this visa is only valid for 30 days. Expatriates, who are only travelling or staying in the country for a short time is not allows purchasing property nor seeking work on this type of visa. These are just two of the Angolan immigration permits.
A letter of acceptance is required from the institute in which the applicant will be studying within the country, along with proof of sufficient funds, duration of the course, medical insurance and medical report. If the applicant is older than 18 years, they will need to submit proof of a clear criminal report. The applicant will also need to declare that they will abide and respect the laws of the country and minors will have to have proof of their guardians consent as well as copies of official ID cards from parents or guardians as well as residence of those who are going to accommodate them within the country.
Short Term Visa
These visas are granted for brief and urgent stays such as funerals, or work meetings. These permits do not allow the holder thereof to engage in anything other than the purpose thereof. Short term visas are only valid for a short period of 7 days.
